About Event

Samgatha is the annual techno-cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M), Kancheepuram. IIITD&M is an MHRD funded central government Institute and is an Institute of National Importance(INI).

Samgatha 2016 had participants and audience from 20 different colleges. Samgatha draws large crowds due to its location at the college hub of chennai, the Vandalur-Kelambakkam region.

This year it happens from March 24th to 26th. From the inception of Samgatha we have always aimed to achieve big each year. Being a centrally funded institute of national importance, we take it as our responsibility to ensure that all our events convey a social message. This year we work on the theme 'Celebrating humble beginnings'.
